The origins of imtech go back to a small garage where Mr. Ivica Mataija enthusiastically put his business idea into practice. Initially, the self-employed entrepreneur received support from two temporary workers who helped with testing, packing and office work.
Success was not long in coming and the work expanded rapidly. In October 2004, Mr Dan Seemüller joined the team as a welcome addition and was soon appointed as authorized signatory.
As the need for workers increased, the lack of space also became apparent. In 2009, the company moved to the "Auf Stocken" industrial estate, where imtech moved into a state-of-the-art industrial complex. This was deliberately designed to provide space for further expansion.
From the outset, the two visionaries placed great importance on optimizing the infrastructure for possible expansion. The industrial complex is equipped with the latest technology, from alarm systems and telecommunications to high-quality ergonomic office furniture.
The continuous development of imtech continued despite economic challenges and remains an impressive success to this day.
imtech is a dynamic, owner-managed company that relies on flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. Since September 2018, we have proudly operated as an IHK training company, with the clear goal of offering young talents first-class training.
Our training areas include not only warehouse logistics specialists, but also commercial professions since 2022. We are currently supporting a trainee on his way to becoming an industrial clerk with additional qualifications in international business management.
Management attaches great importance to a positive working atmosphere, as this forms the basis for effective teamwork. Mutual respect and appreciation are essential for us to create an environment in which good work can thrive.
Our employees enjoy numerous amenities, including height-adjustable tables, ergonomic work equipment and a low-cost membership at hansefit.
Flexibility characterizes our everyday work: we work flexitime with fixed core hours and independent time management. Home office is also an option that gives our employees additional flexibility.
imtech currently has around 20 employees, 14 of whom are permanent employees. We are proud of our team of temporary workers – experienced retirees who complement the team perfectly with their expertise.
What is particularly pleasing is the low staff turnover, which indicates high employee satisfaction and a positive working environment.
In 1999, Mr. Mataija, the founder of imtech, began writing his success story as a reliable service provider for special nuts. Over time, not only did our customer base grow, but so did the requests, which extended to increasingly complex turned and milled parts.
Today we are proud to not only offer the manufacture of complex assemblies, but also to enable the production of prototypes for large series for selected customers. Our range of products is constantly growing and we are continually adapting our services to meet the increasing demands of our customers. This includes measures such as re-stamping, batch coding and the provision of special packaging.
Since 2019, we have trained our shipping team to become dangerous goods and export specialists to ensure smooth and speedy customs clearance. This investment in know-how underlines our commitment to quality assurance and efficient processes in order to offer you the best possible service.
