We do not pass on any data to third parties without your consent.

Deletion of data and storage period

Unless expressly stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies, unless their further storage is necessary for evidentiary purposes or there are statutory retention periods that prevent this.

Existence of automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Provision of our website and creation of log files

If you use our website for information purposes only (i.e. you do not register or otherwise transmit information), we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server.

If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data:

This data serves the purpose of delivering our website to you in a user-friendly, functional and secure manner with functions and content as well as their optimization and statistical evaluation.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR, which also lies in the above purposes.

For security reasons, we store this data in server log files for a storage period of 30 days. After this period, it is automatically deleted unless we need to keep it for evidential purposes in the event of attacks on the server infrastructure or other violations of law.

We use so-called cookies when you visit our website. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser saves on your computer. When you visit our website again, these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you. The information obtained in this way is used to technically and economically optimize our web offerings and to give you easier and more secure access to our website. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b) GDPR, if the cookies are set to initiate a contract, e.g. when placing orders, and otherwise we have a legitimate interest in the effective functionality of the website, so that in this case Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR is the legal basis.

Objection and "Opt-Out": You can generally prevent cookies from being saved on your hard disk by selecting "do not accept cookies" in your browser settings. Contact via contact form / email / fax / post

When you contact us via contact form, fax, post or email, your details will be processed for the purpose of processing your contact request.

The legal basis for processing the data if you have given your consent is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR. The legal basis for processing data transmitted in the course of a contact request or e-mail, letter or fax is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) of GDPR. The controller has a legitimate interest in processing and storing the data in order to be able to answer user inquiries, to preserve evidence for liability reasons and, if necessary, to be able to comply with its statutory retention periods for business letters. If the aim of the contact is to conclude a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter b) of GDPR.

We can store your information and contact request in our ERP system.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those that were sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with you has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

We store requests from users who have an account or contract with us for two years after the contract ends. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, the data is deleted after these have expired: end of the commercial (6 years) and tax (10 years) retention period.

You have the option to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR at any time. If you contact us by email, you can object to the storage of personal data at any time.

Contact by phone

When you contact us by telephone, your telephone number is processed to process the contact request and its processing and is temporarily stored or displayed in the RAM / cache of the telephone device / display. The storage takes place for liability and security reasons, in order to be able to provide evidence of the call, and for economic reasons, in order to enable a call back. In the event of unauthorized advertising calls, we block the telephone numbers.

The legal basis for processing the telephone number is Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 Letter f) GDPR. If the contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter b) GDPR.

The device cache stores calls for 30 days and gradually overwrites or deletes old data. When the device is disposed of, all data is deleted and the memory may be destroyed. Blocked phone numbers are checked annually to see if blocking is necessary.

You can prevent the phone number from being displayed by calling with a withheld number.

Google AdWords Remarketing / “Similar Audiences”

We use the Google AdWords Remarketing/“Similar Audiences” application (Google Ireland Limited, registration number: 368047, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to draw attention to our website by means of advertisements on third-party websites and other Internet offerings.

With the remarketing or “similar target groups” function in AdWords, we can reach you where you have already visited our website and address you with a suitable message via an ad.

With remarketing, we can bring our previous visitors back to our website with just one click. When you visit certain pages of ours, a cookie is stored in your browser that is valid for 30 days. When you then visit other websites or Internet offers, we and Google can use the cookie to evaluate whether you have already visited our website and show you our advertising there. Google creates statistics about this.

We do not know the full extent of the data processing. The data is also transferred to the USA and analyzed there. According to Google, the data collected through remarketing is not merged with your personal data stored by Google, but is processed using a pseudonym. This remarketing serves the purpose of analyzing, optimizing and operating our advertising and website economically.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our advertising and website in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) GDPR. You can object to or prevent the installation of cookies by Google in various ways:

• You can prevent cookies in your browser by setting “do not accept cookies”, which also includes third-party cookies
• You can directly contact Google via the link https://adssettings.google.com deactivate personalized ads, although this setting will only last until you delete your cookies.
• You can view personalized ads from third parties participating in the advertising self-regulation initiative “About Ads” via the link https://optout.aboutads.info for US sites or for EU sites at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/ deactivate, but this setting will only last until you delete all your cookies
• You can use a browser plug-in for Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer under the link https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996 permanently deactivate cookies. This deactivation may mean that you can no longer fully use all functions of our website.

Google Analytics

We have integrated the website analysis tool “Google Analytics” (Google Ireland Limited, registration number: 368047, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) on our website.

When you visit our website, Google places a cookie on your computer to analyze your use of our website. The data obtained is transferred to the USA and stored there. If personal data is transferred to the USA, Google's certification according to the Privacy Shield Agreement (https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework) the guarantee that European data protection law is complied with.

We have activated IP anonymization “anonymizeIP”, which means that IP addresses are only processed in a shortened form. On this website, your IP address will therefore be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the controller with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. We have also activated cross-device analysis of website visitors, which is carried out using a so-called user ID. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The use of Google Analytics serves the purpose of analyzing, optimizing and improving our website.

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR, which also lies in the above purposes.

The data we send and which is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 12 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

This allows us to display the location of addresses and directions directly on our website in interactive maps and enable you to use this tool.

When you access our website, where Google Maps is integrated, a connection is established to Google's servers in the USA. Your IP address and location may be transmitted to Google. Google also receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page. This also happens without a Google user account.

If you are logged into your Google account, Google can assign the above data to your account. If you do not want this, you must log out of your Google account.

Google creates user profiles from such data and uses this data for the purposes of advertising, market research or optimizing its websites.

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR, which also lies in the above purposes.

Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

If the processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a), Art. 7 GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. This does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

If we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) of GDPR, you can object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is not necessary in particular to fulfill a contract with you, which we will explain in the description of the functions below. If you exercise such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we do. If your objection is justified, we will examine the situation and will either stop or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate reasons on the basis of which we continue the processing.

Right to information

You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. If this is the case, you have a right to information about your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. This includes in particular information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the origin of your data if it was not collected directly from you.

Right to rectification

You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected or correct data completed in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR.

Right to erasure

You have the right to have your data stored by us deleted in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless statutory or contractual retention periods or other legal obligations or rights to further storage conflict with this.
Right to restriction
You have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data if one of the conditions in Art. 18 paragraph 1 letters a) to d) GDPR is met:

• If you contest the accuracy of the personal data concerning you for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data
• the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of the use of the personal data instead
• the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require them to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or
• if you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR and it has not yet been determined whether the legitimate reasons of the controller outweigh your reasons.

Right to data portability

You have a right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR, which means that you can receive the personal data we have stored about you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or you can request that it be transmitted to another controller.

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

It is therefore possible that Klick-Tipp will take note of this data, although - as already mentioned above - Klick-Tipp has no right of its own to use this data and is fully subject to our instructions.

(3) Furthermore, at Klick-Tipp we have the option of linking your personal data with so-called tags. Klick-Tipp distinguishes between two types of tags:
SmartTags: When a contact registers using a registration form, they automatically receive a tag with the name of the registration form in question. Klick-Tipp also automatically sets the tags "email received", "email opened", "email clicked" and "email viewed in browser".
Manual tags: In addition to SmartTags, you can create manual tags. For example, you can tag contacts with the tag "customer" or - more specifically - with the tag "purchased product B".
